Abstract
The article reveals the peculiarities of professional and personal development of physical education teachers in the context of non-formal and informal education. It is substantiated that under the conditions of modern social transformations, traditional formal education must be complemented by flexible trajectories of self-development. The essence of non-formal and informal education for a physical education teacher is a continuous process of selfimprovement through individual cognitive activity and the accumulation of practical experience within the professional environment. Particular attention is paid to identifying the pedagogical conditions that contribute to the effectiveness of this process: scientific and organizational support, a democratic management style, and participation in experimental research. The study finds that personal development grounded in reflection, self-motivation, and a positive «Self-concept» serves as the foundation for the development of professional mastery. The key professional abilities (didactic, academic, perceptive, linguistic, and authoritative) that are developed through non-formal learning are characterized. It is concluded that the synergy of various forms of education ensures the holistic identification of the individual with the profession and the high efficiency of physical education and pedagogical activity. In the context of a systemic approach, the conditions of non-formal and informal education that contribute to the professional and personal development of physical education teachers are considered as a multi-level system of interaction of the object, subject, and environment in which the need for self-development is formed and develops. Stimulation of self-development, as one of such conditions, is characterized by the unity of purpose, content, forms, methods, techniques, and means of activity of the leader and other subjects, in accordance with psychological and age characteristics, individual style of activity, experience, gender differences, and the specifics of innovative activity.
