Abstract
The article highlights the issue of using gamification at Chinese language lessons as a method of increasing the effectiveness of school students’ learning. Gamification plays an important role in learning Chinese and makes the educational process interesting, interactive and effective. The Chinese language requires memorizing a large number of characters, tonal language and grammatical structures, which may seem difficult for school students. The use of game elements, such as competitions, quests, awards and interactive supplements, helps to increase motivation, involvement, and concentration. Gamification helps to develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, making the educational process more natural and exciting. The use of game elements contributes to the active memorization and repetition of material, which improves long-term assimilation of knowledge. The organization of group game tasks helps to develop communication skills and interaction between school students.Among the popular platforms focused on learning Chinese, HelloChinese, ChineseSkill Decipher Chinese, Du Chinese, Qing Ting, Pinyin Chart, Chinese Writer, Skritter, Brainscape, The Chairman’s Bao and others are highlighted. The use of game methods in learning Chinese promotes the active participation of students, develops their communication and analytical skills, and also helps to assimilate the material through practical activities. Various types of games – from role-playing and business simulations to organizational and activity and research – allow us to take into account the age characteristics of schoolchildren and effectively achieve educational goals. The use of game technologies encourages learning, develops creative and critical thinking, also creates a favorable environment for mastering the Chinese language, allows school students to obtain information through Internet resources, which improves the quality of learning and the information culture of participants in the educational process. The integration of games into learning Chinese is a powerful tool that makes the educational process more dynamic and effective.
